Atlanta Music Festivals

Atlanta is a diverse city with eclectic tastes that dive deep into history, culture, music and art. Therefore, it’s no surprise the city is home to dozens of festivals that span all four seasons. While each festival celebration is different, there is a common thread that connects them – energy. There is a unique energy generated when people from all walks of life come together to celebrate music or the arts. Whether it’s the Imagine Festival at the Atlanta Motor Speedway or the Shaky Beats Festival at Central Park, each experience has its own specific taste.


Gateway Center Arena

Gateway Center Arena at College Park, Georgia, is a 100,000 square foot multi-purpose venue, home to the College Park Skyhawks (NBA G League) and Atlanta Dream (WNBA). Opening in 2019, this 5,000-seat arena hosts basketball games and plans to stage concerts and other events. It's adjacent to the Georgia International Convention Center.

Atlanta hosts hundreds of conventions, trade shows, international meetings, and expos each year attracting attendees from across the globe with a variety of interests and professions. While the focus of each convention is different, the common element is the shared enthusiasm and excitement between and amongst attendees. There is something special that happens when people come together to share their life’s passion. Whether it’s the Ultimate Sugar Show, Log & Timber Home Show or the Association of Nursing Students Convention, each has its own special energy.


Georgia State University

Georgia State athletic teams are known as the Panthers. Georgia State hosts a variety of intercollegiate sports, 16 varsity athletic teams to be exact, that participate in the NCAA's Division I FBS as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. The university has won conference championships in basketball (men's and women's), baseball, golf (men's and women's), softball, soccer (men's and women's), women's tennis, and beach volleyball. The beach volleyball team has been ranked in the top 10 of all programs every year since its inception in 2013.
