We believe that everyone deserves a pat on the back and recognition for a job well done! We receive so many letters and kudos from fans at the events and venues we serve, that we thought we should share so that our team members know just how much their hard work is appreciated. Here are just a few of the kind words that we’ve received in recent months:
“I wanted you to know that Linda Vest is such a wonderful Argus staff member, she is the perfect fit for The Newman Center. She works so well with not only the Newman Center staff, but also our patrons. She’s friendly, professional, and just a delight. I’m not certain if Argus has a recognition program, but if they do, I would nominate Linda to be recognized!”

“We attended the three night String Cheese Incident shows Dec. 29, 30, & 31. Our group was part of the VIP program but chose to sit on the two front rows of section 114. We had a spectacular time in part due to the quality of the security personnel that you employ. We want to give recognition to the roaming security by the name of John who we observed at one point assisting a guy with a crutch up stairs and the floor entry security of both Matt on the 29th and Mike on the 30th and 31st. These men are excellent employees and represent your venue well. We have traveled to many venues across this country and have never encountered better employees than these gentlemen. Thanks for a wonderful time!”

“My daughter and I attended a concert and to my shock, we (unfortunately) were involved in a mosh pit which was a horrible experience. My daughter ended up getting hurt and this gentleman (Argus staff) helped her with water and towels and stayed close to where she was for the rest of the concert and immediately tried to help by lifting the crowd surfer over her head before she was injured again. I felt as though she had a “guardian angel” watching for one side for me, as I was the other side of her. At the end of the concert, again, this gentleman asked my daughter if she was ok. I know that it is the job of the event staff job to make sure things run smoothly, but I feel this kind man went beyond his duty to make sure my daughter was ok and to keep her safe. And for this, I am so very grateful. I will never forget the kindness he showed her.”

“Our youngest son David took me to see the Pens and Avs game. As we had seats behind the penalty boxes, we were able to take some pictures of the warmups. Our son informed the security guard there that it was my birthday and did he mind if his dad was able to get closer for a better picture situation. The gentleman agreed and let me take a lot of pictures. After the game, the security guard presented me with a a game puck. It was so thoughtful and touched me deeply as he did not have to do that and could have just let the fun of the night be a gift in itself. I asked my son, “Did you ask him to do that?” He said, “no, he did it on his own.” I just had to let the folks there know what a thoughtful and kind thing the gentleman did for me. Also, we were pleased with the whole experience from entering through security, to the vendors, and all the staff were exceedingly courteous and whole night was a great experience. Please again convey my thanks to all, but especially to the security gentleman that was so kind to a man celebrating his 84th birthday.”
