WHY “ARGUS”

An Argus is a figure in ancient Greek mythology with many references to its protective nature, and the word itself means “all eyes”. Our company exhibits that same protective nature on behalf of clients for athletes, the talent, fans, attendees and others through our diverse offerings of event management services, including parking and traffic control, box office, ticket taking, gate security and 24-hour on-site security.

HISTORY and PHILOSOPHY

Argus Event Staffing, LLC (Argus) was founded in 2002 and today is one of the premier providers of security and event staffing services in the Denver and Atlanta marketplaces. Although the services we offer changes from venue to venue, from event management to 24-hour security solutions, the one constant is our focus on customer satisfaction. Our team members receive extensive training to ensure we deliver the best experience possible to fans and patrons, building on our “first impression customer service” and “one fan at a time” philosophies for each and every job. It is this commitment to client care and maintaining a comfortable and safe environment that has helped us reach the level of success we enjoy today.

We serve the premier venues in both the Denver, Colorado and Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan areas, including the Philips Arena, Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Denver Performing Arts Complex, Pepsi Center and many others. Argus has a “home-grown” tradition and treasures its local roots. Our local management team has decades of experience in event management and security services. From our founder, Tom Smith, who launched Argus and transformed it into one of the most trusted event staffing companies in the area, to our executive staff who has grown Argus into new markets and introduced cutting edge training and retention initiatives, Argus staffs the best of the best. Many Argus team members are involved in account management for the largest venues in the Denver and Atlanta regions, coordinating all aspects of our clients’ event and venue management needs.
